Aura Energy Limited is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quality Assurance Associate to help ensure our products meet quality standards, customer specifications and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct physical and chemical testing of raw materials, in-process samples and finished products, with primary responsibility for UFC 85.
• Perform quality testing and verification for liquid resin and adhesive products as required.
• Inspect incoming materials and verify supplier quality documentation.
• Review test results against specifications, identify non-conformances and escalate quality issues.
• Verify finished product compliance and prepare laboratory reports and Certificates of Analysis where required.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, calibration records and accurate quality documentation.
• Support ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements, including laboratory safety and environmental compliance.

Qualifications & Experience

• Associate Degree, Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering Technology, Industrial Chemistry, Laboratory Science or a related scientific discipline.
• Preferred: 2–5 years of laboratory or quality control experience in chemical, resin, adhesive, petrochemical or industrial manufacturing.
• Experience with laboratory testing equipment and ISO-certified quality systems is an advantage.
• Familiarity with ERP systems or Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) is desirable.

The successful candidate will help maintain efficient material flow, accurate stock handling and clean, organised work areas while upholding company quality, safety and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, offload, label, store and move raw materials, packaging and finished goods.
• Assist with inventory counts, order picking, palletising and dispatch preparation.
• Supply production teams with materials and assist with routine factory operations.
• Maintain clean, organised and safe warehouse and factory areas.
• Follow material handling, stock rotation, traceability and contamination prevention procedures.
• Comply with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and FSC 34 requirements.
• Follow safety procedures, use required PPE, and promptly report damaged materials, hazards and incidents.

Qualifications & Experience

• Secondary School Certificate (CXC or equivalent).
• Basic mathematics and reading comprehension skills.
• Preferred: 1–3 years of experience in warehouse, factory or industrial operations.
• Safety training, forklift safety awareness or ISO awareness would be an advantage.
